On our visit, we may take some measurements, sketch some options, and take documentation on any site specific needs. After we review your workspace, we work with engineers to design a solution for you and return with an estimate. Our project managers work with clients through every step of the design and installation process to ensure specifications are met and timelines are adhered to.
Designing
After the estimate is authorized and the design process is complete, our team will build and assemble your system. Timelines for each system vary, as all solutions are customized for our individual clients. When it is time for installation, our leaders will visit the site and contact all subcontractors involved to keep the process moving smoothly. On site, we will consider:
- Load requirements for the existing flooring or structural supports
- If any extra machinery or equipment is needed for installation
- Personnel access to the site or adjoining areas
- Location of gas, plumbing, and electricity
- Overhead lights, fixtures, or duct work that may be impacted
- PPE or specialized permits that may be required

Completion
After installation is finalized, our team completes crane load testing and monitoring to ensure security and success. Crane load testing is performed to monitor the safety and productivity of each new crane system. Newly installed cranes are required by OSHA to have two operational tests and rated load tests prior to use. Our experienced technicians double check:
- Locking and safety devices
- Trolley and/or bridge travel
- Hoist operation
- Trip setting of the actuating mechanism
- Load test of up to 125% of the rated load
